Debora A. Throughout her legal career, Ms. Diaz aimed to provide legal representation in a client-focused, efficient and cost-effective manner. In giving legal advice, Ms. Diaz believes in cutting through all of the legalese and explaining the law so you will understand the basics of the law as it relates to your individual case. When Ms. Diaz meets with a client one of the first things she wants to know is what the client’s goals are. Ms. Diaz strives to ensure that the client has an adequate understanding of the law and the issue as it relates to the goals of the client.

Ms. Diaz has provided legal representation in the areas of Family Law and Marital Law since 1995. Ms. Diaz has tried cases in all areas of family and Marital law: divorce, domestic violence, child support, temporary custody, temporary relief, paternity, time-sharing, relocation, and dependency.  She has cases throughout the Tampa Bay area but focuses her practice in Pasco, Pinellas, and Hernando counties.

Ms. Diaz received her Juris Doctorate from Syracuse University College of Law in 1994. During law school, Attorney Diaz was a first-year Teaching Assistant and a Research Assistant. She also was chosen to be an Editor of The Labor Lawyer published by the American Bar Association. Ms. Diaz received a B.S. in Industrial and Labor Relations from Cornell University in 1985 while working full-time. She also received a Graduate Certificate in Management Studies from Cornell University. Ms. Diaz is a Graduate of the Leadership Pasco Class of 1997.

Ms. Diaz has been a resident of Florida since December of 1994. She believes in giving back to her local community and has served on many non-profit organization boards.
